NolitchX / Sivuvalo in collaboration with Lahti Institute of Design and University of Tampere presented a Poetry Poster Exhibition at the Lahti Runomaraton 2019

The exhibition explored how multilingual and multicultural poetry manifests itself in a typographic context. The poems of the exhibition are from poets living in Finland and Sweden who work in other languages than Finnish or Swedish. The poems were translated into Finnish by translation students at the University of Tampere. Students of graphic design at Lahti Institute of Design interpreted the poems graphically in posters that were exposed at Keskustalo, Aleksanterinkatu 12, 15110 Lahti, Finland.

The exhibition was curated by visual artist, translator and Sivuvalo member Anne Ketola together with Marion Robinson and Christoffer Leka from the Lahti Institute of Design.
