Happy 2019 everyone!
Or let’s work towards making the Nordic countries a more inclusive region. NolitchX is a non profit literature project and network that produces readings, provides translations and publish translated texts by immigrant language writers residing in the Nordic region with the aim to contribute to an inclusive and diverse literary field in the North. NolitchX has partners in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, and in 2019 we are happy to start collaborating with similar projects in Norway, Baltic states and Germany.
6 – 9 februari 2019 i Munktellstaden, Eskilstuna
We will begin this year’s activities on February 7th at Folk och Kultur in Eskilstuna with a collaboration with The Nordic Council of Ministers and The Nordic Council. NolitchX coordinators Roxana Crisólogo and Petronella Zetterlund are excited to present the project in a short talk before a multilingual reading produced by NolitchX with very interesting names which will be announced shortly.
In 2019, we will continue to publish translated texts by immigrant language writers in the Nordic countries on our website.
A new aspect of our work this year will be interviews with foreign born female cultural producers which will be published continuously on the website, to show the diversity, energy, initiative and incredible work and quality within Nordic literature.
