Mutant Language, multilingual poetry reading organised by NolitchX at the Nordisk Sprogfest in Aarhus, September 2017.

We had a fine lineup of poets –Kawther AbuHani, Roxana Crisólogo, Azita Ghahreman– and narrators –Mazen Maarouf and local Lucas Ruiz–, who all read their texts with Danish translations.

Thanks to the translators without whom the event wouldn’t have taken place: Thomas Boberg, Ditte Gadegaard & Ellen Wulff, Sofie Lausten Mortensen and Niels Hav, to Daniel Malpica for the beautiful graphic design, and to the large and wonderful audience.

The event was a collaboration between NolitchX and Nordisk Sprogkoordination with support from Nordic Culture Point and Nordic Culture Fund.

At Nordisk Sprogfest, NolitchX organised a discussion on the situation and experience of immigrant language writers living in the Nordic countries with authors Kamal Ahmane, Azita Ghahreman and Roxana Crisólogo. The talk was moderated by Petronella Zetterlund.

Discussion on Nordic Literature Prize, organised by Culture for All, where coordinator Petronella Zetterlund participated together with Mazen Maarouf who is part of the NolitchX network.
